I saw you dancing

Loki jealously watched Thor dance with Sigyn. She laughed as the joyful song filled the hall. Thor was a constant flirt. Loki frowned as the song ended and Sigyn continued to laugh. Thor bowed and walked away. Loki stood and walked up to her as the next song began. A beautiful, slow song much more to his liking.

Sigyn turned to leave but turned bumped into a tall figure dressed in green. Surprised, she looked up at the softly glowing eyes of Prince Loki. He bowed slightly and held up his hand. She put hers softly against his and they began to dance, their movements perfectly matched.

"Where is my brother?" Thor asked, looking around as he found his friends. Sif smiled and gestured to a couple dancing. Thor's mouth fell open. Sif shut his jaw, chuckling to herself.  

It was hard for Thor to look away from his brother. Loki had never expressed much interest in dancing but there he was. And he was good. Loki was always agile, but now, he was graceful.

As the song continued, Loki and Sigyn moved closer to each other. Sigyn gazed at him and felt drawn into his fiery green eyes.
When the song ended, she was close enough for Loki to feel her soft warmth. The next song began and they didn't move. Loki bowed after a few moments and walked away.

"Loki?" Sigyn slowly followed him. She found him on a balcony, watching the sea. With the horned helmet and his cloak swirling around him, he looked imposing but somehow majestic. Sigyn leaned against a column, slightly afraid to approach him.

"You don't have to hide." He said, not turning. Sigyn stood next to him. He glanced down at her and shifted awkwardly.

"It's nice to have someone who understands magic." Sigyn said nervously. "I'm sure yours is much stronger but- what was that?" Loki put his cloak around her. She shivered as his hand brushed her shoulder.

"You were trembling." He said simply. Their eyes met for a moment. "You were saying?"

"I don't remember." Sigyn was once again drawn to him. She couldn't explain why she was so attracted to the brooding prince. He was handsome, yes, but mysterious and dark.

"Something about using magic." Loki said.

"And how nice to have someone who understands." Another Loki appeared. Sigyn laughed as it vanished. Loki pulled off his helmet and set it on a bench.

Another song filtered out from the party. Sigyn took his hands and began to dance. As the nobility of Asgard had their fun in the hall, the prince and the beautiful goddess danced together in the moonlight.
